The Freshwater Fly Factory Tour. It's A Must See!

The Freshwater Fly Factory is the home of The Fish Fighter USA Fly Clip a ultra-lightweight foam and plastic fly patch designed to slide on the bill of your fishing hat.  It's made to protect your hat from snagged hooks... which can cause damage to your hat and lost time on the water when you have to spend long minutes digging out a trapped fly in the fabric.  It's great for drying and carrying a few of your favorite flies, right there on the bill of your cap.  It's convenient and very simple to use!  I love mine for wading the Great Lakes shallows for carp and smallmouth bass.  No need to carry a fly box!  I load up a handful of my best patterns, slide it on the bill and away I go!  One customer use's his for running the beaches of Florida chasing snook.  He likes the fact that he is not weighted down with as much gear.  Tenkara guys and gals like it too!  A whole days supply of flies up top and ready to go.  And now after much interest we've decided to open our doors to the public to show you our world class manufacturing facilities.  We are currently located on a dirt road back in the Michigan woods.  Enjoy the tour...

Welcome!  Come on in.
Our manufacturing technology is so precise and efficient we can fit the entire assembly line on one wooden workbench.  The Freshwater Fly only employees the best child labor available.
Here we see our assembly process.  Our laborer is hand cutting the high density foam in our custom cutting jig. The foam will then be secured to the 100% recycled plastic clip.  Every FFUSA Fly Clip we produce is handmade.
This is our quality control, packaging, and shipping department.  Every FFUSA Fly Clip is checked for quality and defects.  Once it passes our strict standards, the clips are packaged and prepared for shipping.  We have sent Fly Clips to 38 different states and two foreign countries, Canada and Japan.  Notice the support from our employees... this child laborer is wearing one of our FFUSA Hat fly Clips!
This is our employee lounge and breakroom.  Since our products our in such high demand we can only allow them a 5 min. break for every hour they work and a 10 min. lunch.  A 12 hour day can get very long!  So, this room has become a very sacred place for our staff.  Due to budget constraints we have no bathroom facilities at this time.  Each employee is given a roll of toilet paper at the start of every week.  They can then choose their favorite spot in the woods out back.
This is our general foreman.  He is very dedicated to making sure the plant floor runs smoothly and our labor staff is happy.  His harsh military style management skills lends itself perfectly for this style of production.  Here he is telling them... "Get to work ladies.. we have orders to fill!  If you do not get them done tonight,  you will have to stay home from school tomorrow to finish them!  So if you want a education... I suggest you get working!"
Completed Fish Fighter Fly Clips ready to be attached to the bill of your lucky fishing hat!  Thank you for taking our tour, we hope you enjoyed seeing inside The FF Factory, and to all that have purchased a FFUSA Fly Clip or have won one or been given one and you've shared it with others or said good things about it... WE SALUTE YOU! and THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT!  So... as you leave our tour today, please support catch and release fishing and help to protect our watery resources.  Remember! The Freshwater Fly Fish Fighter Creed!  FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT. CATCH. RELEASE. FIGHT AGAIN.

A diet of Reeses Cups + Rockstar is enough to keep production high and those kids crankin' out clips! Good thinking out of the foreman.

Oh, and I'm stealing the picture of the fridge where the T! snuck in there next to Patagucci. Glad to be aligned with such an operation.

Small business at its best, wouldn't mind working at this place, mainly because of the break room, but I have always hated the woods for the bathroom especially if you run out of toilet paper.

Is that a box full of boxes of fly lines? I need one of those. I used a line for a few years before I finally swap it out.

Mike... that's a box full of empty fly line boxes. Most those lines are strung on rods. I too try to get 3-4 years out of a line. Good care and maintenance is key... as you know. Thanks for being a great FFUSA Supporter!
